Polycrystalline diamond (PCD)
Polycrystalline Diamond (PCD) is an artificially sintered diamond, which can be used in all wet drawing and dry drawing processes, Polycrystalline Diamond high temperature pressing and alloy bond sintering. There are three types of Polycrystalline Diamond Embryo: non-reinforced ring type, reinforced ring type and heat-stable hardening type.
Polycrystalline Diamond Drawing Discs is the type with the longest service life of all materials, which can provide the highest production efficiency and reduce downtime. It is suitable for all applications from large diameters to ultra-fine wire, with predictable surface quality of the wire.
With the free arrangement of diamond crystals, the wire can still keep good roundness even under the condition of heavy wear of the mold, and the size of the blank can be guaranteed and the expected maximum broach size can be obtained. It can be used in all wet drawing and dry drawing processes. It is mainly used in larger sizes, more demanding wear requirements, but less important surface finish.
